Anne Burrell’s sudden death at 55 has left her fans devastated, with hundreds of people taking to social media to pay tribute to the celebrated chef.
Her death came as a shock to the Burrell’s friends and fans as she was not publicly known to have any health issues.
According to the US media, Burrell was found “unconscious and unresponsive” at the scene of her death, at about 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, the New York City Police Department said.
The reports said that emergency services responded and pronounced her dead on the scene.
No cause of death has been given by the family of the chef but some social media users are blaming it on the COVID-19 vaccine.
Many took to Twitter, X, to share the screenshot of her March 2021 tweet which she had sent out after getting vaccinated amid the pandemic.
“VACCINATED!!! It was actually an emotional and liberating experience!!! There is a light.. We are coming back to life!!! I am grateful.”
It’s not the first time a celebrity’s death has been blamed on COVID-19 vaccines.
Conspiracy theorists have cited the vaccines as the main cause of deaths in the entertainment industry following the pandemic, although they have failed to substantiate their claims.
It’s expected that the true cause of Anne Burrell’s death will be made public once medical experts complete the necessary procedures to determine the cause of death.”
