Documents Required For Online PAN Card Application (Indian Citizens)
To apply online, individuals must submit documents in the following three categories:
1. Proof of Identity (any one of the following):
Aadhaar card
Voter ID card
Passport
Driving license
Arms license
Photo ID card issued by central or state government/public sector undertaking
Certificate of identity signed by:
Member of Parliament (MP)
Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA)
Municipal Councillor
Pensioner card with applicant’s photograph

Aadhaar card

Depending on the entity type, the following documents are required:
1. Indian Registered Companies:
Certificate of Registration issued by the Registrar of Companies
2. Indian Partnerships or LLPs:
Certificate of Registration issued by the Registrar of Firms or LLPs
Or Partnership deed
3. Trusts (Association of Persons):
Trust deed
Or Registration Certificate from Charity Commissioner
4. Foreign Companies:
Certificate of Registration issued in India
Or Approval from Indian Authority
Or Registration Certificate from home country (authenticated by Apostille or attested by Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate)
5. Foreign Firms or Trusts:
Relevant documents of registration or formation

Documents Required for Students and Minors
Minors and students must provide proof of both identity and address.

Driving license
Bank account statement (last 3 months)
Electricity, gas, or telephone bill
Voter ID card
Government-issued domicile certificate
Original certificate of address signed by a gazetted officer or MLA
Accommodation allotment letter from central/state government (recent)

Aadhaar card

Passport
Driving license
Ration card

Bank certificate with photo and signature, signed by the Branch Manager
