Hindi now ranks as the third most spoken language globally, with over 600 million speakers. While primarily spoken in India, its influence extends across continents, reaching nations such as Nepal, Fiji, Mauritius, and countries with significant Indian diaspora populations.
Where Hindi Is Spoken

Today, Hindi speakers can be found across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Gulf nations. In some countries, localised forms such as Fiji Hindi and Mauritian Hindi have emerged, blending native vocabulary and regional nuances, demonstrating the language’s adaptability.
