Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are reportedly all set to get married in the summer of 2025.
According to the latest findings of RadarOnline.com, the pair has requested Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John to play at their wedding.
The wedding has reported to taking place in Venice this weekend. However, an insider claimed that the musicians have not accepted the entrepreneur’s offer due some concerns.
Mentioning these fears, a source told the outlet the singers do not want their association with the wedding to have a negative impact on their standing and public relations.
Reportedly, both the musicians dislike the tag of “being in the pockets of billionaires.”
On the other hand, the soon-to-be-wed couple has not been welcomed by Venice and protests have emerged against the businessman and his Blue Origin space tourism company.
“The Bezos wedding may be a giant payday, but it’s hardly a great look for their ‘do-gooder’ reputations,” claimed the insider.
“Both Elton and Gaga have expressed worries about how performing at the ceremony may affect their respective brands, and they fear being labeled hypocrites,” they concluded.
