HBO has announced the renewal of “The Comeback,” the comedy series featuring Lisa Kudrow.
According to Variety, the beloved comedy, co-created by Kudrow and Michael Patrick King, is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has been renewed for Season 3. Kudrow stars as actress Valerie Cherish in the show.
Lisa Kudrow rose to global fame with her iconic role as Phoebe Buffay in the hit TV series “Friends” (1994-2004).
News of her return to “The Comeback” has thrilled millions of fans. One notable fan, actress Melissa Benoist, couldn’t help but react to the report.
On Instagram, Benoist, known for her role in “Supergirl,” gushed: “This is the greatest news of all time.”
Benoist is currently starring in the Netflix show “Waterfront” which is inspired by the childhood of creator Kevin Williamson, who grew up in a fishing family in coastal North Carolina.
