Easy Matcha Chia Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1–2 tsp high-quality matcha powder or 1/3 cup strong brewed green tea, cooled
2 tbsp chia seeds
1–2 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1/2 cup Greek yoghurt or plain kefir
Instructions to make:
Step 1: In a bowl or jar, whisk together chia seeds, yoghurt or kefir, matcha or tea, vanilla, and maple syrup until smooth and dissolved.
Step 2: Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumps.
Step 3: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until it thickens into a pudding-like consistency.
Step 4: Before serving, stir well and top it with fresh berries or a sprinkle of coconut flakes for extra flavour.
Note: If you are using matcha, whisk with a bit of yoghurt or kefir to fully dissolve. And if you’re using brewed tea, make sure it’s strong and cooled.
