Lisa Haydon made heads turn at Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 when she hit the runway at Rahul Mishra’s show on Monday, July 7. Lisa, who was part of the model lineup, played the perfect muse in a sheer sequin dress with signature Rahul Mishra design aesthetics.
A vision in white, Lisa’s couture ensemble featured a corset dress with sheer detailing. Lisa looked ethereal as she glided down the runway celebrating Rahul Mishra’s Couture Fall 2024 collection, Becoming Love. Every detail of Lisa’s ensemble was a celebration of India through craft. Made with Love, Lisa owned the runway looking like a goddess in white.
The floral blooms and shimmery detailing on the dress beautifully captured Rahul’s love for nature. The cinched bodice, the floor-length silhouette and the intricate craftsmanship of Lisa’s ensemble played the perfect canvas for timeless couture.
Lisa’s glamorous runway look was further enhanced by a stunning necklace and earrings from Tanishq Diamonds’s collection, Radiance in Rhythm. The goddess of the runway, Lisa’s glam highlighted her jaw-dropping gorgeous features and celebrated her beauty with elan. Lisa looked effortlessly chic in the slicked-back hairstyle.
Lisa not only owned the runway with her spectacular presence but also carried off Rahul Mishra’s vision of Becoming Love with utmost purity. Becoming Love is Rahul Mishra’s ode to the evolution of love through seven stages – attraction, infatuation, surrender, reverence, devotion, obsession, and finally, death.
The couture show which was set up inside the refectory of Collège des Bernardins, played the perfect canvas to showcase the varied shades of love through Rahul’s design language.
This season, Rahul Mishra discovered the transformative passage of becoming love. For Mishra, We don’t simply fall in love, we become it. Rahul Mishra’s show was attended by American rapper Cardi B, who made a rather late entry in a stunning fresh off-runway look.
Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 kicked off on July 7 in style with noted couturier Schiaparelli’s showcase. This season, which is on till July 10, 2025, will also feature showcases by Chanel, Ashi Studio, Giorgio Armani Prive, Robert Wun, Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, Maison Margiela and Balenciaga among others.
