James Gunn has finally gotten honest and set the record straight on the actual run time for his Superman film.
The conversation happened on Instagram Threads when a fan reached out to the star and asked about the run time for the Superman film and ether it was ‘accurate’.
“Inclusive of credits/post credits the runtime is 2 hours 9 minutes,” was Gunn’s response on the app.
He also clarified a second question, and that was about rumors that Warner Bros wanted him to shorten the film.
According to Variety, for that he clarified that there is “zero truth in that”.
Not to mention “And they couldn’t even if that’s something that they wanted to [do]. It’s a DC Studios film.”
It is pertinent to mention that Gunn also has director credits in this Superman film. This is his first return behind-the-camera in over a decade.
Some other hits under his belt from past jobs includes writer credfits for the 2014 Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as the Vol 2 version that came out in 2017, 2023’s Vol.3, Suicide Squad, Lolipop Chainsaw etc.
