As Housefull 5 gears up for its grand release this June, the makers officially kicked off the promotional campaign with an extravagant trailer launch event held in Mumbai. The occasion was graced by the film’s star-studded ensemble, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan and leading ladies Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa and Soundarya Sharma. Also present were producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Tarun Mansukhani. While Sanjay Dutt, who plays a pivotal role in the movie, was absent from the event, the team brought a life-sized cardboard cut-out of the actor to add a quirky touch to the celebration.

The much-anticipated trailer, unveiled at the event, promises a rollercoaster of chaos and comedy set aboard a luxury cruise. The story begins with a voiceover by Nana Patekar, introducing a lavish 100th birthday celebration thrown by a billionaire on a yacht. The twist arises when the billionaire announces he will be leaving his inheritance to someone named Jolly—prompting Akshay, Abhishek and Riteish’s characters to each claim the title.
As the plot unfolds, the party spirals into a night of confusion, hilarity and suspense when something is slipped into the trio’s drinks, leading to a collective blackout. The real shocker comes with the discovery of the billionaire’s murder and the three friends find themselves prime suspects. Adding to the intrigue are Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff, who appear as a sharp-witted police duo determined to crack the case with their trademark humour and charisma.
Housefull 5 boasts a powerhouse cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey and Johnny Lever. The film is set to hit theatres on June 6.
