The objective is to promote eco-friendly travel, support the neighbourhood, and provide opportunities for cross-cultural interaction and mutual learning.
The Indian digital nomad village is intended to be both eco-friendly and modern. Local Buddhist and Limboo families run the majority of homestays in this area. Moreover, this Sikkim village features fields, greenhouses, and orchid gardens that are sure to boost output and tranquilly.
Yakten is designed to be comfortable in the digital age. The majority of homestays offer mobile broadband, which makes it easy to stay connected at all times. For extra security, there are backup power sources available.
Yakten’s culinary scene is extremely communal, with each dish serving as a cosy embrace that forges connections and a sense of inclusion. Warm curries, seasonal stews, and sel roti breakfasts are just a few of the local cuisines prepared using locally cultivated ingredients.
