Tia Mowry recently opened up about how she dealt with a painful divorce.
As per the latest findings of Daily Mail, the Sister, Sister alum got candid and shared mental well-being advice by posting open-ended questions on her Instagram Stories on June 25.
For the unversed, the actress parted ways with husband Cory Hardrict, with whom she shares two kids, in October 2022.
When a fan asked, “Girl how the hell do I recover from this divorce? Lord help me Chile!”
Tia responded by advising her fan to “dive into doing the work,” and “really, truly focus on self-care”.
Sharing her two cents she began, “Focus on what makes you happy and what brings you joy.”
The 46-year-old also suggested her fans to “build a tribe, a community of friends, a support system. Meditate. Try new hobbies. Read books on healing”.
In addition to this, she insisted that it was important to “spend time with your children if you have them, or just surround yourself with people who genuinely love and support you”.
Recalling how travelling helped her heal by creating new experiences in life, “The more experiences you have, the further away you get from that heavy, gut-wrenching feeling of divorce.”
Before signing off from the chat, she added, “Allow yourself to cry. Allow yourself to feel it all. Just don’t let it consume you.”
