Blake Lively and Taylor Swift’s nearly decade-long bond has gone cold after the Hollywood actress dragged the songstress into her legal battle with Justin Baldoni its being reported.
In a complaint earlier filed this year, Justin claimed that Lively and Swift pressured him to rewrite the script of It Ends With Us.
Since then, the duo hasn’t been spotted together nearly in a year, unlike previously when they would appear once on red carpet and girls’ night outings.
As per the latest finding of RadarOnline, a source said, “Their bond has gone cold, that’s just the truth of it, Taylor doesn’t want to be linked to this circus, and she’s told people she needs space from the drama.”
Referring to the Blank Space singer’s girl squad in which some of the notable members included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, Salma Hayek, and Lorde, the insider continued, “That group used to be inseparable.”
“There’s no feud – just a quiet drift,” the insider told the outlet. “Gigi’s closer to Taylor and doesn’t want to get involved.”
However, Salma Hayek is ‘still standing’ with Lively as she was spotted dining with Lively at RH rooftop restaurant in New York city in May.
Revealing Lively’s plan to take revenge from the 14-time Grammy winner, the insider noted, “Blake’s not crying over spilled champagne. Her new girl squad may not be packed with pop stars, but it’s real, and that’s what she needs right now.”
Before concluding, the source shared, “She’s also looking to build up more high-profile bonds so she can show Taylor she is still a Hollywood heavyweight – and part of that is bitter.”
