Aimee Lou Wood just revealed that right after filming The White Lotus, her agent gave her a surprising assignment.
Catching up with PEOPLE magazine with her The White Lotus co-star, Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 31-year-old actress reflected on their recent collaboration with Venmo and what they usually spend money on.
Wood shared that she mostly uses her money to buy small things for her home and even her agent ended up giving her advice to buy a brand-new wardrobe.
When she was questioned about where she spent her money, she replied, “I think I need to go and treat myself more. My agent said this to me the other day.”
The Daddy Issues star added, “[My agent] was like, ‘Why are you wearing these clothes?’ I came in and I looked so scruffy, and she was like, ‘Maybe you should just go and have a shopping spree,’ and it will probably feel really fun and good, but I usually just spend my money on such silly…It’s always novelty household things.”
She went on to open up about her financial vices by admitting that she spends “so much money on cute things that are just quite pointless,” such as “tiny miniature toy mice that I think are sweet.”
However, Wood is now “looking forward to maybe a shopping spree soon, because it is really cool when you can do that,” as her first big purchase was an Apple Macbook.
“I remember that being a moment,” the Seize Them! alum recalled.
