Zomato Share Price: Shares of food delivery and quick commerce giant Eternal Ltd edged lower after the company announced a leadership change in its food ordering and delivery business.
Aditya Mangla has been appointed as the new CEO of the segment, following board approval on July 6, 2025. He will serve a two-year term, succeeding Rakesh Ranjan, who has completed his tenure.
In a regulatory filing, Eternal stated that Ranjan would no longer be designated as a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) effective July 6, 2025. Mangla, who currently heads product for the food ordering and delivery vertical, has been with the company since 2021.
In an internal email to employees, founder Deepinder Goyal said the leadership shift is more than a routine transition. “This isn’t just a change of roles. It’s a signal for the kind of leadership we need as we move into our next chapter,” he wrote. “Leadership is not just about knowing what to do. It’s about learning how to see—the invisible cause and effect. We need leaders who listen not to reply, but to understand.”
Global brokerage Morgan Stanley reaffirmed its ‘Overweight’ rating on Eternal shares with a price target of Rs 320. The firm highlighted Mangla’s experience and noted that Eternal has consistently gained market share over the past four years, even amid multiple leadership transitions.
At 9:16 a.m., Eternal shares were trading at Rs 259.55, down 0.7 per cent on the day.
