The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the official list of bank holidays for June 2025. Banks will be closed for a total of 12 days throughout the month, including regional festivals, Sundays, and the regular weekly holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays.
The RBI prepares this holiday schedule annually in coordination with state governments and publishes it on its official website. All government and private banks across the country observe closures every Sunday, as well as on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
Additionally, the RBI has announced certain state-specific holidays that apply only to banks in those regions. Customers planning to visit bank branches next month for important transactions are advised to check the holiday schedule in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
