Jamie Oliver turned 50 this week, with wife Jools Oliver paying tribute to her husband of nearly 25 years in a touching Instagram post filled with family memories and affection.
Jools shared a video montage on Tuesday, featuring candid moments from their life together, from wedding photos to joyful scenes with their five children: Poppy, Daisy, Petal, Buddy, and River.
In the caption, she called Jamie her “absolute legend,” writing, “We love you SO much and cannot wait to celebrate you today — 50! We are so proud of everything you have achieved so far.”
The chef, known globally as The Naked Chef, responded with heart emojis in the comments, clearly moved by the tribute.
His mother, Sally Oliver, also posted a birthday message, calling her son “an unfailingly kind soul.”
According to Daily Mail, Oliver first rose to fame in the late 1990s with his approachable cooking style and Essex charm.
Since then, he has authored numerous cookbooks, launched television series like Jamie’s School Dinners and Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, and campaigned extensively for healthier school meals in the UK.
Despite setbacks, including the 2019 closure of his restaurant group, Oliver remains a prominent figure in food education, with his Ministry of Food program recently marking its 15th anniversary.
This June, Jamie and Jools, who met as teenagers, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, capping off a milestone year filled with both personal and professional reflection.
