Machine Gun Kelly revealed the real meaning his and Megan Fox’s daughter’s name holds.
The 35-year-old rapper shared in a recent chat on Today on June 19, that his baby daughter’s moniker “Sage Blade” describes his and Jennifer’s Body alum’s rocky journey of having her.
“Coming back again, disappearing, coming back again—she is an epic story,” he said of the little, whom Kelly and Fox welcomed in March.
The My Ex’s Best Friend singer shared that his baby daughter’s name is the title of “goddess of storytelling.”
“And that’s what Saga means. I’m also of Norwegian heritage so that’s the Nordic goddess of storytelling,” he noted.
“I think she has a storytelling future ahead of her,” Kelly gushed.
Elsewhere in an interview Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, praised Fox, calling her a “great mom.”
“She’s killing it. I’m so excited,” he said on the show.
This came after a source told People that Kelly and Fox mutually decided on their little one’s name and it just “felt right to them.”
“The name Saga, which means ‘story’ or ‘tale’ really felt right to them. It’s a new chapter — full of meaning and hope,” the insider added.
