Allison Williams, who is famous for her role as Marnie Michaels in Girls, has just now opened up that she wouldn’t allow Violet McGraw to watch her former series.
While promoting her upcoming movie M3GAN 2.0, she candidly discussed with Entertainment Tonight why wouldn’t she let her co-star watch Girls.
Referring to her on-screen niece, McGrew, Williams began by saying, “Violet has not seen Girls, nor will she ever. You can see it when I pass on.”
Revealing the reason, she continued, “There’s one scene — every time you and I talk about this show — there’s one scene that pops into my mind’s eye, and I just can’t be in the same country. I have to be in outer space when you see it.”
However, the 37-year-old actress hasn’t specified which scene of the romantic-comedy series.
The Hollywood actress starred in the 2012’s series alongside Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, Adam Driver and Zosia Mamet.
The series, which ran for six seasons, follows the lives of four girls in their twenties navigating friendship, relationships, hook ups and careers’ challenges.
Recalling the conversation with McGraw, she concluded, “I know you’re 14, and you are so adult, but also, thank God you’re 14. Stay that way.”
Allison Williams and Violet McGraw’s starrer movie M3GAN 2.0 is scheduled to be released in cinemas on june 27, 2025.
