Billy Ray Cyrus just expressed his love for Elizabeth Hurley on her 60th birthday.
The pair, who first met at the set of the 2022 film, Christmas in Paradise and then became romantically involved amid his acrimonious divorce from Firerose.
After the couple went public in April, the Achy Breaky Heart singer took to his official Instagram and posted a sweet tribute to Elizabeth on her birthday.
“Happy birthday to the love of my life,” he wrote adding a heart emoji underneath a photo of the happy couple smiling together.
Billy, who has been married thrice, came under fire for his declaration in the comments section as one user wrote, “How you two just started dating. love of your life what a joke,” while another posted, “you just met her.”
“How many loves of your life have you had in the last 10 years??” a third social media user asked.
However, Elizabeth seems to remain unfazed amidst the chaos as she posted a series of red heart emojis in the comments section while her 23-year-old son, Damian, also showed his support by commenting a heart emoji as well.
This comes after she discussed the “surprising” reaction to her romance with Billy Ray Cyrus but insisted that pair is actually in love.
“It’s not surprising to me because we’re actually quite similar and get on extremely well,” she told Page Six, adding, “We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love the country. And we both love country music, both love movies. We’ve got a lot in common – and cowboy boots, definitely.”
