Violet McGraw has dished a thrilling update about M3GAN 2.0.
During an interview with SFX Magazine, the Black Widow actress candidly discussed what fans can expect from the movie.
“Everyone got older; Amie [Donald, who plays ‘M3GAN’] got older. It was a different vibe, but with the same family, and same crew,” she began. “It made me want to do an action film so bad. I’m waiting patiently,”
Cast members from the original movie have returned to the science-fiction movie, including Allison Williams, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jenna Davis, Amie Donald, Jen Van Epps, and McGrew.
Sharing a rare update about her on-screen character, Cady, McGrew continued, “I love doing stunts, so whenever I get a chance to do my own stunts, I just get so happy. I used to want to be a stunt person.”
“It had been a long time since I’d seen her, but she’s just so upgraded – it’s insane,” the 14-year-old actress said before adding, “She’s faster, stronger and more lethal than before. There’s a picture of me when I first saw the 2.0 doll. And I was like, ‘Wow!’
In the movie, the hyper-advanced robotic doll M3GAN, who returned as the murderous in the original, returned to protect her friend Cody from threats.
Before concluding, Violet McGrew shared, “Your eyes get so confused because you think you’re talking to a human being. “It feels like there’s a real living person in front of me. And it basically is.”
M3GAN 2.0 is scheduled to be released in cinemas on June 27, 2025.
