One of the most popular pet dog breeds in the world, Labrador Retrievers are friendly, loyal, and full of energy. They were originally bred as working dogs to retrieve game (hence named so), Labs need regular exercise to stay fit and calm. Considering their high-energy levels, a simple walk isn’t enough for Labs. Instead, they love swimming, running, and games like fetch which keeps them physically and mentally active. Labs love to eat and so they are prone to weight gain; this can be avoided by daily physical activity.
